About Horizons Unlimited

As a sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program it is our goal to help child care providers improve the health and well-being of the children they serve. We have been succeeding in this goal since we began in 1991. All of our professional staff previously worked in the child care field. This experience allows them to understand the issues providers face and share ideas, experiences and resources that might be helpful.

Linda Leindecker - Executive Director

I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of children in child care settings.  Nearly 30 years ago I discovered the Child and Adult Care Food Program.  Over the years I have seen this program positively impact many lives.  Often providers tell me their whole family is eating better and enjoying it now that they understand some simple nutrition facts.  I currently serve on the Board of Directors for The Child and Adult Care Food Program Sponsors Association, a national organization that supports this vial child nutrition program.

Jenna Van Den Wildenberg - Field Representative

I am very proud to be a Field Representative for the Horizon Unlimited Food Program.  I believe that Family Daycare Providers and the Food Program are essential in building a generation of strong, healthy and active children by establishing habits that will last a life time.   After all, the children are our future.
